I found this loophole in the Salary cap interesting...I hadn't noticed if other teams exploited it.

The Blackhawks assigned ALL their 2-way contract guys to the Rock, for the week.

The total cap savings of having Hinostrosa, Schmaltz, Forsling, and Hartman in the Rock for the 5 days turns out to be about $477K. For a cap strapped team, like the 'Hawks, this could be a HUGE savings.
