Bartkowski has spent the 2016-17 season with the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League where he has 10 points (2G, 8A) in 34 games. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native played for the Vancouver Canucks in 2015-16 after spending five years in the Bruins organization split between the NHL and AHL.
In total, Bartkowski has skated in 211 NHL games and has 42 points (6G, 36A) and 127 penalty minutes. The 28-year-old has also played in 15 playoff games where he has a goal, two assists and 14 penalty minutes. He was a seventh round pick (190th overall) by the Florida Panthers in the 2008 NHL Draft.
