The roads are fine. People just need to realize that "All season tires" are only designed for fall, spring, and summer. They are not four season tires. If everyone bought winter tires like you should anywhere in Canada east of Vancouver, we would have no problem. |
I'm not sure how winter tires are going to help me from sheer ice though, which is what much of the city was covered in yesterday.
I have had winter tires for the past five years (I never drove to work before then) and although they're great, I would appreciate the ice at least being taken off roads, especially on hills.
