I never understood the love affair with this stuff when making a real macaroni or other pasta and cheese is so simple.
Like another poster said, get some real imported pasta and if you want a nice, cheesy easy to make sauce try this.
In a small pot, add a nice sized chunk of butter (2 inch by 2 inch) add some salt and than melt it under medium high heat. Bring it to the point just about before it turns brown and all a little salted cheese like a REAL Parmesan or other gradable cheese. Wisk the butter and cheese mixture to blend together, add a bit of pepper and then pour over pasta. Toss the pasta to mix the butter sauce and than top off with some more cheese. Tastes amazing and its all 100% natural as opposed to some of that mass produced stuff from Kraft.
