Doesn't mean that the top American students are worse than the top Canadian students. In fact, the American system seems geared towards pushing the high achievers to excel. There's a reason Canada doesn't have anything to compare to MIT or Stanford.
However much worse this administration makes an already poor public education system for the average American, there's little chance we're going to see Silicon Valley companies pull up stakes and move to Canada to take advantage of our better-educated electricians and payroll administrators.
