Hahaha! No. The Canucks make NO SENSE to a coach like Julien who will want to pick his spot on a team that is poised to compete for a Stanley Cup. The Canucks are about as far away as a team can get from that goal, and Julien has ample time to weigh his options.

The only thing "clear" about Gulutzen so far is that he is a structured coach who employs a fairly consistent system of puck possession. To add to that the Flames special teams have been lights out since after the first few weeks of the season. I will agree with you that Treliving will not change coaches after handing Gulutzen 2/3 of a single season, but I disagree heartily that this will be a mistake. This team is still a couple of years away, and I don't think that Gulutzen has amply demonstrated that he is "not the answer." I want to see more.
