That kind of moralistic, dogmatic fervour is horrifying. Sounds like he's calling for a war based in Marxist ideology of using state power to 're-balance' the ledgers of group outcomes. It's been tried before - the American left better start buying more guns. A lot more.

Postscript: I’m a straight white, male. I have a Master of Divinity from an Evangelical Christian seminary. I voted for W both times. I was a conservative, Evangelical Christian, I’m speaking from experience.

Not surprising at all. It's remarkable how often people swing from one end of the political spectrum to the other - ardent ideologues of both the left and right share so many personality traits.
