See, this kind of mentality is where you get into dangerous territory. It allows you to care less about the life you are living and more about "the prize". It breeds selfishness if your primary goal is to make not this life, but the next one better for you. It explains why we have suicide bombers. I have actually never heard someone be so direct as this comment was, using words like rewarded and prize.
