Is it possible someone is using my wireless, I have it security enabled. IS there a way to tell if someone is using it. I can see about 6 other wireless networks.
I have plugged directly into the shaw modem at the slow times and it seems to not make a difference.
Shaw has been out 5 times and whenever they come it is working well. I;m starting to get ****ed off at them.

1) Check your antennas. Make sure they're perfectly straight up and down. Use a level if you have to.
2) Check the "channel" you're using on your wireless. It'll be a number from 1-12. Usually it's set to 6. No one one ever changes this number, so all the wireless networks around you are probably using channel 6 as well. Change it to something else.
3) Call Shaw and see if they're doing any maintenance around your area.
