Hello oiler fans, this is the first time you've been in this situation this late in the season in a decade. Most of you don't remember that things kinda ramp up at this time of year. Just because every team in the last 900 games of your embarrassing existence have REM slept their way to victory and have now decided they actually need to play hockey in order to beat you, doesn't make you special. Actually, it does, but not in the way you think.

Horrible just horrible.
Only difference between this year and last year is the team hasn't completely imploded after game 10. Coasting to get the W against the Oilers doesn't cut it so teams have to try.
A Battle of Alberta would be cool to see but can't help but cheer for a crippling 9th place finish for the fans up north. Dare to dream.
