I'd say our best shot is to pick up another teams prospect that isn't currently in the NHL and would be at risk of being exposed in the expansion draft. Here's some names that might be affordable.

Ville Pokka
Ryan Murphy
Jordan Subban
Scott Mayfield
Ryan Pulock

If we are going to try for an established rhd we will have to pay through the nose. All of these players have some pedigree and their existing teams would have to consider exposing them in expansion draft or move them now and get something for them.
