Or the workshop after the Women's March to teach women the ins and outs of running for public office?

Or maybe the fact that various senators and representatives are throwing hissy fits because democrats/progressives are absolutely obliterating their phone lines and voicemail inboxes and showing up at their offices to voice their views and to try to influence those representatives to actually do their jobs and represent their constituents?

Perhaps its that the GOP is now looking to fix the ACA rather than repeal it, because all this "bitching" is forcing their hand to realize that taking healthcare from millions of people is maybe not a good idea.

This isn't just "bitching," this is a lot of bitching backed up with lots of action. This is people getting involved in the democratic process in a whole mountain of different ways. This is the best thing to come out of a Trump presidency. It forced a whole lot of people out of complacency and apathy.
I suppose this is all like the massive following that Sanders got while he was a viable candidate? Droves of young people getting out to vote and involve themselves in politics for the first time?

Yeah, we all know how that went.

Sustainable action that will make a lasting difference takes more than a march or a meeting. People care more now, sure. But will they care as much 6 months down the road when the headlines aren't as sensational anymore?
