Other than maybe a few areas in Toronto, nothing is really par with some of the ghettos of the US. We don't really have Mexicans beheading the Crips in the street like they do in South LA. Nothing in Canada is remotely that violent. We don't have nearly the murder numbers any major US city has.

The downfall of Canadian cities is that it's cold.

Are you exaggerating for effect? I assume you haven't visited 90% of these cities because that is just ridiculous.
