It's becoming archaic thinking to judge a player's career by number of Stanley Cups they won as opposed to individual awards.

This thinking will have to change as more and more great players don't win a Cup in their careers as its getting harder and harder to win one, and the odds just go down with 31 teams being in the league starting next year.

Heck, Alexander Ovechkin will go down as probably one of the best players to play this game, and has a very real chance of maybe never winning the Stanley Cup if Washington never comes through for him.
