I agree with his point even though I never liked or supported pre-organized heavy-weight gladiator fights. If no on-ice punishment comes from abusing your best talented players on a consistent basis, more abuse will be happening. Problem is, we only have Hathaway and Ferland to do that without losing too much of an on-ice presence in defensemen (i.e Engelland can do that, but he is badly needed to play, not sit in the box). What's the answer?
