Who's been
consistently better than Versteeg, outside of the 3M line? Maybe Monahan, but that's
really debatable.
Gaudreau: super inconsistent. Not a chance
Brouwer: not a chance
Bennett: ice cold at times, not a chance.
Ferland: had a great start, has been awful since
Stajan: no
Hathaway: I mean, maybe, but he can't score
Bouma: can't score
Hamilton: certainly not
Monahan: maybe, although he's also been quite inconsistent
All season long, Versteeg has been this team's best playmaking forward. He's been tenacious and has a good nose for the net. He scores pretty consistently at greater than a .5 PPG pace.
