I know Flames don't generally do midseason coaching changes, but you have to think that Gulutzans job is starting to be on the line here. Losing streaks are happen, but a string of embarrasments like this has to be hard for the organization to take, especially with the Oilers dominating us for the first time in ages.
Whether this stuff is on the coach or on the players is irrelevant. Our core is signed for the foreseeable future, so it's essentially a coaching change or nothing.
Besides. If Gulutzan bombs and Treliving does nothing, I have a hard time seeing Treliving getting his extension either. That should give Treliving the motivation to do something. (Hopefully nothing stupid. Desperate GM's always worry me.)
(Note that I'm not saying what should be done, just commenting on how the future looks like right now.)
