This is actually a really tough question, as to whether you have copyright in a recipe and how much you'd have to change it to avoid that copyright if you do. For example, National makes a thing called the Glory Bowl, which is a 100% rip off of a dish created by the Fresh Tracks Cafe in Nelson (published in a popular series of cookbooks)... which is also called the Glory Bowl.
Always baffled me that they could get away with that without even giving credit.
