The team rarely looked as outclassed under Hartley as they have for most of this season. In Hartley years 2 (the first rebuild year) and 3 they were almost always in games, even when they were clearly a less talented roster. Last year in the beginning was the worst they were under Hartley, and his worst is no worse than what we have seen this year.
Not that I want to get too far into reminiscing about Hartley, but there is too much revisionist history there....he did a lot of good things. And if you are going to fire him so quickly then you had better make sure you are upgrading and not downgrading, which is what has evidently happened.
I don't want Treliving fired, but he screwed this up badly, and it needs to be fixed.
