The teams sucks right now. I swore with anger for the first time in awhile tonight, but when the buzzer went, the flames were still in a playoff spot, the Kings lost, and the Canucks are still bound to falter when their upcoming road games against top teams happen. All that leads the flames to still be in the mix, something that everyone wanted at Game 1 of the season.

It's the "don't come around when we're good again" junk that irks people. I'm a sports fan, I have favourite teams in MLB, NHL, NFL. I post in message boards for all my teams. Nothing drives people crazier, on all the forums I belong to than fans that tell other fans how disloyal or bandwagon-y they are for getting mad and swearing off the team. The reason they get that upset is because they are fans and the losing is negatively affecting them. You aren't a higher quality fan because you see a silver lining that many (most) of us are having a hard time seeing right now.
