Yeah, they are poor for sure. But Thole still only hit .200 in his Blue Jay career, which shouldn't be too hard to replace. But it is also hard for me to look at Jiminez's numbers and just say he was awful. Last year was his first season that he didn't bounce between multiple levels, with the same Buffalo team as Thole in 2015, Jiminez had a better OBP, Slugging and OPS than Thole and last season was an improvement for Jiminez on top of that 2015 season. I see no harm in giving him a handful of games to see how he does at the MLB level. Maybe he surprises us, maybe he doesn't and we pick up a cheap back-up.
