That's a lot of holes. He's going to be hard pressed to find a legit 1st line RW. Versteeg is an opinion to bring back for the 3rd line. No need to qualify Chaisson and I'd given Ferland one more year to figure it out. Hathaway should be brought back. Bouma has another year but it might be worth swapping him for, really, anything. Hathaway plays his role for a fraction of the price. Hamilton too.

Not sure any of the D prospects are ready for top 4 NHL minutes either. Could probably survive on the bottom pair with Kulak - and maybe Engelland on a reduced salary.

The 2 closest goalies would be Rittich and Gillies but they are not close to starter material. Bishop maybe with Rittich as backup?

If Jankowski can keep up his play, Bennett could be the best trade bait for a legitimate top 6 RW. Klimchuk seems to be having a good bounce back year as well. The FA pool for RW, outside Radulov is weak, so a trade is probably going to be the way to go.

The Ducks will need to shed salary, Silfverberg <-> Bennett?
