Well don't get stupidly irrational about it. This sucks and some cracks are certainly showing and concerning, but take you first example. You fire the GM that's made some really great moves because you're pissed off that the team game isn't coming together.....now what?
Grab whatever out of work GM wants a job on short notice? Let Burke take over in the interm, whose last GM move was signing Matt Stajan to a huge contract right after the fan base had counted down the days until his last contract wasn't on the books?
Rebuilds aren't linear and they need to and will exercise much more patience than we do. I mean, this board had a healthy percentage calling for a Hamilton trade for pretty much anything because of early struggles, now he's a top ten Dman in the league.
