There's not much of a correlation with those 2 allegations IMO.
Outside of that awful opening stretch and a few bad games/shifts here and there, Hamilton's been our best defenceman. Probably the 2nd most consistent defenceman after Engelland too.
Gio is definitely able to elevate Dougie's game, but the vice versa is also true and I would say Hamilton elevates Giordano more - especially considering how good he is at holding the offensive blue line.
