Be careful in Calgary, especially NE Calgary.... I had an incident where I was behind this guy and we were turning left into Sunridge from 32nd across the train tracks.
I gave him a short honk because he looked to be on the phone and distracted -> so not turning despite having the ability too (not a short time period either, I'm talking about 10-20 seconds of solid turning light). I mean - I thought i was doing him a favor - wasn't actually mad or anything.
Dude goes crazy, waits until I was beside him, rolls down his window - and flashes a large knife from his glove compartment. I pretty much got out of there as fast as possible.
I mean, who drives around with a large knife in their vehicle??? So, I pretty much avoid confrontation completely.. its just not worth it. We are human, we all make mistakes - we just have to forgive and move on.
It scares me to think that I might have been dead if we were in the U.S.. haha
