Yep, he's been great all season long every single game and if he regresses like Bouma? So what, Treliving isn't about to hand him a three year deal like Bouma got.
Teams need players like Hathaway and he contributes so much to the team when he's in the lineup and should be played until his play falters. I don't see that happening with his work ethic.
And he's pretty good defensively and positionally. Hathaway absolutely contributes and I get really sick of people thinking bottom 6 players are easily replaceable. They're a big part of the team and having a guy who hits and battles on your fourth line rather than a Colborne type player makes a big difference IMO and can change the momentum of a game with one hit.
