I'm liking the Iggy idea more and more as a gamble to run out this season.
We're not strong contenders anway, and it's definitely low risk / high reward.
The chance that the sentiment of being back home rekindles Iggy into scoring some big goals for us and keeping the power play hot seems like it's worth a shot.
As I mentioned, I don't hate Chiasson but he is David Moss incarnate as far as I'm concerned. Big guy, decent shot but not the best hands or sense. Doesn't add chemistry to any line, just stands tall down low and can get a shot off if he's in the right place.
Iggy can still snipe, and even the chance he'd be lifted up by returning here and playing with motivated hungry young players (away from that tire fire in Colorado) seems like it's worth a shot in the dark.
