Gaudreau, Monahan, Bennett, Tkachuk, Frolik, Backlund. That's not even considering any future players we might draft, develop, trade for, or sign.
There's plenty of skill there to be competitive with any team around the league unless you're talking about the Capitals, Penguins, or Blackhawks.
You're just being a pessimist, and a contrarian. I know it's your thing, but you're wrong in this case.
