That's like going up to your best talent in your workplace and calling him lazy in a safety meeting while everyone is listening, and then wonder why he wants to quit and is now working for the competition. The trade return was un-winnable even though the return wasn't too bad, its the fact that we HAD to trade him is what bothers me.

Why do people keep dumping this on Burke?
Burke doesn't dictate who plays and who sits? He doesn't dictate who gets sent down and who makes the team.
The coach does all of that. The coach was Hartley. It was Hartley that didn't give Sven "enough love", which soured the relationship.
The guy that Sven had to deal with on a daily basis and who "turned him off" on the organization was Hartley. Burke had barely anything to do with it; he was the President, he was barely even in town.
