And where is the incentive for this reform? Where is the incentive for drug companies to engage in this fair balance between profits and access to meds? Seems to me we've just seen a couple instances of just the opposite. If you can't change patent law, then change laws which allow access to FDA approved medications to the marketplace. For a country that screams from the rooftop about being the last bastion of capitalism, they sure don't believe in open markets.

Don't agree with you in recall either because it's extremist organizations that will use it. Think of endless reelections on NRA issues for every non NRA rep in every state.
Yeah, that's a big concern. But, we have a ####ty system where representatives have no accountability to the people except during election cycles they control. The control needs to go back in the hands of the people. If a district is not happy with their representative we should have the right to fire him/her and replace them with someone more reflective of the constituent's desires. If you have recall possibility it makes injecting money into politics that much more difficult. If it is discovered a representative is on the take, or representing his donors more so than his constituents, that guy should be removed from office. If politics becomes this responsive, it might help get the money out of politics because big donors won't be able to make these huge investments, knowing their bought and paid for politician can be removed from office by his constituents. I'd much rather roll the dice on the NRA, and their 5 million members, being able to control elections than continue with the ####ty representation we currently have, thank you.
