The answer has to be that the most skilled guys have to produce, 5v5. Gaudreau, Monahan, Bennett. As that continues to not happen enough, the Flames will continue to lose more than they win. Secondary scoring has been good, for most part.

Which has me wondering, the team play seems to have improved overall but does this coach get the most out of his skilled players or run a system that plays to their strengths? How much has Alex Chiasson affected Johnny's play, or confidence? Does Johnny need more skilled line=mates in order to complement his elite skills (which seem almost non existent right now). Some is on the players but the coach has to have a connection. With the exception of the Backlund line, Gaudreau, Monahan, Bennett all seem lost right now, Bennett is not the same guy that scored 4 goals last season. The question is what exactly is ailing the Flames offense is it the system, the coach or the players or all 3?
Personally I think the team is heading in the right direction but somethings are not clicking right now.
