It seems like the Oilers' attack lives and dies off McDavid in this game. He is the only one I have seen able to punch through the defence effectively. Nugent-Hopkins and Eberle were dancing through early but have vanished as the hitting intensified. Same goes with Draisatl to some degree who seemed afraid to take hits at the Flames' blue line.
The Flames were able to generate chances on forecheck pressure as well as on the rush. Brodie has done well to gain open ice and the 4th line is chipping in. Given an infinite amount of time (and a little more finish by Monahan's line who seemed to whiff fairly often)...the Flames should take over.
