I think that you always had to advertise it, but this was the first time I have seen that you can actually lobby a complaint against an establishment through a federal website. Now THAT is cool.

Vancouver saw the craze start. They also saw the problem of the 14oz pint. With a handful of chain restaurants and bars operating in both cities it was only a matter of time before it started creeping across.
Though they've gotten on top of the places in Vancouver recently, especially after this article came out a couple years ago.

Then there is the nefarious big bottom glass that plagued its way through the US (where a pint isn't a federally controlled standard).
