You didn't mention it, but have you ever had Japanese curry? When curry was first introduced in Japan, they tweaked it a bit by making it more to the taste of the Japanese which is mainly that it's a little sweeter than Indian curries.
S&B brand is what I buy, which you can find at Asian grocery stores and I recommend it. The directions are in Japanese but use Google translate and it's easy. It's just dried cubes of curry splendor!
