We called it bumper-jumping. And in Winnipeg , it was bumper-shining, which I always thought was a stupid name.
You did it mostly in mall parking lots? In grade 9 and 10, it was my primary mode of transportation for getting to school.
When a bus went up the street from neighbourhood A (where I lived) to neighbourhood B, where the high school was, there were often 3 or 4 kids hanging off the back of said bus.
