Still, something like whether or not he was in the US on those dates would be exceedingly easy for US Intelligence to confirm or debunk. And FWIW, he has a bunch of geotagged tweets that place him in the US in that time period. Not that those couldn't be faked, but that'd be pointless given how simple it'd be for authorities to figure out whether he was in the US or not.
