Dosen't really matter if this incident isn't YET ANOTHER example of what is happening all too frequently. To me this is the direction the police force and society in general should be moving --- to curb the violence towards those who can't defend themselves. I heard one guy on the radio saying we shouldn't overeact as youth violence is actually down. WRONG!! There is no such thing as overeacting to violence -- Ramp it up and ramp it up till it's down to next to nothing.
In fact why not take a 5 year hiatus from peacekeeping abroad and put every single one of our troops into the police force and try and take a real chunk out of violent crime.
