I would assume that all of her shots for the next movie are done, so its pretty easy to limit her role in the final movie to a couple of minutes, which means that CGI would be easily done.
I'm just not sold on another Princess Leia, I think it would hurt my heart more then anything else.
In the final role her moment could be either her greeting her brother or mourning him.
