For your information, the link above with someone suggesting Bennett could be trade bait is from the same page as someone else trumpeting we trade Brodie. There are a fair share of suggestions we trade core players all year, every year. It's just the vast majority of them (not unlike yours) are out on a limb for a reason. |
This is the predictable way this was going to go. You are frothing so much to prove me wrong you are arguing positions I've never taken while ignoring my actual positions.
I am not making myself out to be the smartest guy in the room, just talking about team building and asset analysis.
Please tell me which of the young core group you would move over Bennett?
My position is that Monahan, gaudreau, Brodie, tkachuk and Hamilton are more important to the future of the roster than Bennett. If you disagree, please tell me which player from that group you would be prepared to trade instead of Bennett?
