I was going to write out a long winded response to Hockey illiterate, but why bother? The Libertarian, I am not poor so you shouldn't be either/if only you worked harder in life is one which ignores basic facts of their own advantages. Telling someone who doesn't have money to just not have children, ignores the realities that people do have children and to offer subpar services to children merely makes a new generation of the poor and disenfranchised. The ironic part of that is if someone does get pregnant, his mindset doesn't believe in offering abortions, which presumably wouldn't be basic health care.
