Re the Brower conversation. It's fair for folks to want to critique the dollar value on his contract (not saying I agree, but it's fair), but as pointed out that's got to be a critique of BT and the Flames if you feel that way.
For the simple reason that unlike with a younger player, there is no way the Flames signed him at his age expecting he was going to be improving with age. They paid him (right or wrong), to bring exactly to the Flames what he's brought else where for the past 5 years or so. He seems to be doing that.
