You would think people around here would be a bit more patient with player development considering everyone is raving about how good Mikael Backlund is now. Backlund had a long, long development cycle and, thanks to that patience, the team is reaping the benefits.
Player development is not a straight shot upwards, and it does not happen over night. Show some patience.
