I don't exactly expect him to throw himself under the bus and I do agree with him that a couple bad turnovers resulted in goals/chances (Giordano), but it would nice to hear him step up and say he's got to be better and make a big save when the team needs it. The first 2 were weak IMO, 3 he got caught deep in his net, 4th he had no chance. I really hope Johnson takes the ball tomorrow and runs with it for the forseeable future.

A lot of deflections and puck luck, something the Flames had in Colorado, was how Gulitzan described the goals that the Nucks got. He didn't raise any alarms about the play of Elliott and again used the term puck luck.
I don't see Elliott as having a future with this team. His play has been at times too inconsistant for my liking and I hope that Gillies or whoever Tree gets will fill the #1 slot on the team next season.
