Don't you think Treliving needs to keep an eye on the goalie situation and not just close his eyes and ride the 2 goalies he has? I don't care about the record, the Flames goaltending has looked soft ever since Johnson cooled off. It would be a shame to see sub par goaltending torpedo another season.

It is a marathon and I am a realist. The fact of the matter is that Elliott has been uncharacteristic ally bad, the Flames are tight to the cap and not at all well positioned to make a move in net.
They will ride it out and will be fine. Average goaltending might hurt them this year, but this team is not built to win now—it is built to win in another two or three seasons.
Of course Treliving should—and I believe he will—do whatever he can to make improvements, but you can't honestly believe he is now, under the present conditions going to aggressively pursue a goaltending change, do you?
