The thing is, it's old Leia now.
Young Leia became iconic, and therefore young Carrie Fisher was iconic. For old Leia, you can re-cast her and it would be more than fine. I imagine the scene where Leia confronts Kylo will be emotionally charged, should you should definitely get a talented actress to do it, and not a CGI bot.
