There's much more to the story though... the Richmond Fire Department has been rocked by discrimination suits lately that have had suicides and all sorts of calamity attached to it.... This is obviously a reaction to it.

I think standard issue ginch is overkill, but if the shiz in the story below is accurate, I hope they do take measure to take out the harrassment in the department, period. Sounds like a frat boy mentality there.

Also here is a story about how the harassment is widespread, including of it's male members. Sounds like on the job bullying....
