Not off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure a Google search of the archives will turn up op-ed pieces by a broad variety of Bishops who have penned pieces that espouse views which run contrary to more popular liberal perspectives on such controversial topics. Regardless, just look at the guiding documents that bishops often release or even public records (news, statements etc) and you'll see consistency across the board with all Canadian bishops. Bishop Henry just happened to be a little more blunt about it and perhaps more outspoken. Still, why is that such a bad thing? Canada is a democracy and prides itself in having a marketplace of ideas. Penning an op-ed piece is exactly what we should expect as a reasonable means of debate--even if sometimes the perspective espoused might be abhorrent to others. Some will agree, many will disagree and hate him for it. But that's all apart of the discussion.
