As for mileage, over the 6 years and nearly 300,000 km, the Yukon has averaged 15.3 L / 100 km, about 50/50 highway vs Calgary traffic. The mileage is about 2L / 100km worse in the dead of winter compared to the summer....

I bike to work year round, my wife does in the summer, and bus's in the winter. So typically we do one trip to the grocery store a week, my wife takes it 1 or 2 evenings somewhere not to far away, and I my use my truck to run to the hardware store for something. Every 2-3 weeks we got to Canmore. Maybe a trip to no goodsville once a year. That's about it for driving. I have no idea how some of you spend so much of your lives in a vehicle!
