At one point I have to wonder why someone would be on a hockey discussion board at all and not just look at the final scores each night.

You got me there! I like forums as there are lots of discussion on hockey. Some are quite intelligent, others not so much. For sports writers, I have a higher bar for them. Articles from Duha are usually quite good with unique points. But I just find the two articles in question from Edmonton and Toronto are both banters from forums, its a waste of time to read. I hope writers are held to a higher standard by their editors and publishers.
Back to hockey - I think Mathews will be like a Francis. McDavid like a Modano and Laine will be another pure goal scorer - maybe a Selanne. I am excited to watch all three players for years to come. If Tkachuk can turn into a Roenick, that would be awesome.
