This is great to see, and John Deere is making this investment themselves. Nice. A hybrid in theory would be excellent for the ag industry as an electric motor makes more torque than a comparably sized combustion engine, and does it all at startup. Perfect for heavy iron.

But, I'm still curious. Has our provincial govt reached out to industry to find the best places for investment and willing partners? Has there been any evidence this has happened?
